World Wide Photo Walk this past Saturday

So this past Saturday I went on a photo walk with 50 other photographers from Springfield MO and surrounding area. The idea was to get some great photos of the area, but also to meet some new friends. It was a blast. There were thousands who participated all over the globe! check out http://worldwidephotowalk.com.

David and Paula Get Married!!

A couple of weeks ago I had the privilage to capture David and Paula’s wedding. Surrounded by their kids, grandchildren and friends, they pledged their love to each other. They have such an amazing story of Grace! Here are a few from that evening:

Friends John and Rachel stopped by last weekend for some updated photos. They are good friends and almost neighbors. Well, they live about 20 minutes walk from our house. It’s close enough! Needless to say they rocked it! We got some great shots of the two of them and a few more “business” like for their portfolios.

Oh…and how could I forget??? After, we went to Texas Road House and had STEAK!!

Nick and Haley Venturella Tie the Knot

It was a cold snowy day, but Nick and Haley’s wedding was awesome. It was great getting to know this cool couple. Their love for each other and their love for their God was evident in everything they did. Congrats guys! (fist bump! )

New Canon Full Frame Camera!!!

I have been checking daily to find out about and when the new Canon Full Frame Sensor camera is going to be released. I have been using my 30Ds faithfully, always wanting to move to a 5D, but could not pull the trigger knowing that a new version would be out shortly.

I know that it will cost more and ultimately it is the man/woman behind the camera that captures the light, but gosh…new toys are cool! And what better to shoot with, than the best tools money can buy! Ok, so maybe not the best, but the best this part timer can afford.

So…i know it is probably days away, but I keep checking every day. Honestly, it’s more like every 10 minutes
