They are good friends and almost neighbors. Well, they live about 20 minutes walk from our house. It’s close enough! Needless to say they rocked it! We got some great shots of the two of them and a few more “business” like for their portfolios.

Oh…and how could I forget??? After, we went to Texas Road House and had STEAK!!

Here in Springfield, Missouri, it seems like we have HOT summers and then only a few weeks later winter shows up on our doorsteps.

The past few days we have had record amounts of rain because of the remnants of Hurricane Gustov. My home rain gage is topped off at 5in! On the back side of that storm is a amazing cool front. This morning it was 54 degrees when I woke up and today’s high is only 71. Needless to say, I am looking forward to fall!

I was about to start by saying that many of you who know me also know Jim Wellborn, but what I should TRULY say, is that Jim knows you!! Jim seems to know everyone! He has thousands of contacts in his phone. If you need someon’s info…call Jim, he’s got it!

Contact King aside, Jim and Linda are cool people. Jim is a missionary for the Assemblies of God and I had the privilage of taking a few photos for their business card. His wife Linda works at a local college and is an amazing cook. Amanda (my wife) loves going to their house with me…even if it means we are going to be taking photos! She has no doubt, Linda has something cooking! The night we showed up to take photos, she had made steak with salad, and potatoes, and rolls, and dessert. Gosh it was good. Is it lunch time yet??

Casey is senior from Branson Missouri. She and her mom, who are originally from California, came down two weeks ago and we braved the warm indoors as it was 43 degrees outside (not exactly California weather). Our hope was to venture outside into Nixa, but the temperature was way to cold for both of us. Next week they will come back and we can try again! She is about 6 or so months old and the cutest little thing ever! She is just finding her voice and loves to scream and talk non-sense that only God must be able to understand! There is no doubt she loves snuggling with her Daddy or playin’ with Mom!

But it seems like many of our friends have recently had a new baby enter into their family. It’s awesome for us…we get to spend time with the little ones and then hand them back to mom and dad when they start crying. Which happens to be quite often in my case! LOL!

Drew is the man! He is just starting to find his laugh. The other day Amanda and I were at the Amsler’s and baby Drew was just laughing at the TV.

Here is drew just a couple of months ago…my has he grown since then!
